While surfing through the blogs this a.m., I found this fantastic light idea using Benjamin sockets.  Never heard of these. Another example of why blogs are brilliant.

Prune's Eggs Benedict

While blog surfing in a allergy-induced coma this afternoon, I found this uplifting photo from L.A. in Bloom of Heather's breakfast at Prune from a recent weekend in NYC. Anytime I need a burst of color I check in with Heather's blog (which, since I live in a place of unending grey skies, is a lot.)

Lovely Light

At Schoolhouse Electric in Portland I saw this amazing light (which popped into my email this a.m.) and I think it would be great for the light above our dinner table, which is in the living room, as we have a galley kitchen.
